Recently, I was stuck with an issue which probably very few of you might have experienced. Yes, a overwritten menu. Particularly, the footer navigation menu texts. Though the culprit was me who forgot to use a proper WordPress loop in one of my page which was displaying Events Manager plugin’s content. Let’s see where i was wrong! This post is just to stop you from panicking and blaming the plugin (like, in my case 🙁 ) or anything of that kind.
What i did
if (have_posts()) : the_post(); else: echo 'Sorry! No Event'; endif;
What i was supposed to do
if (have_posts()) : while(have_posts()) : the_post(); endwhile; else: echo '<p>Sorry, no events matched your criteria.</p>'; endif;
Though the issue is really silly, but at times we tend to over-look these type of mistakes. But hope, not any more in the future. 🙂
