Leading telecom operator Airtel has now rolled out a new Rs 93 plan for its prepaid non-commercial users. The telco is offering unlimited local and STD calling, 100 SMS per day and 1GB data under the Rs 93 plan. The new data plan comes with the validity of 10 days.
Airtel further informed that customers will be allowed to make 250 minutes of calls daily and 1,000 minutes weekly. In case any user exceeds the limit then they will be charged at 30 paisa/minute. Along with this, customers will be allowed to make calls not more than 300 unique numbers.
The new plan from Airtel directly competes with the Rs 98 plan of Reliance Jio. Under the Rs 98 plan Reliance Jio is offering unlimited local and STD calls, 140 SMS per day and 2.1GB data. The plan comes with the validity of 14 days.
Airtel announced that it has revamped its Airtel TV app. The telco has also announced the entire range of content catalog available on Airtel TV. The company also added that Airtel postpaid and prepaid customers will get a free subscription to the service until next year June. In order to avail the offer, Airtel customers just have to download and install the Airtel TV app on their smartphones and enjoy the experience. Airtel TV app is available for iOS and Android platforms.
