WordPress business account

Its a great news from Automattic’s WordPress.com has launched its ‘WordPress.com Business‘. The ‘WordPress.com business’ account will cost $299/site/year, which comes with add-ons includes advanced design tools bundled package supporting custom web fonts, CSS editing options, elegant color palette, premium themes and unlimited storage for videos, more over with live chat support. This business users will get a free domain name for their sites (with one of theses domain extensions – COM, NET, ORG, ME). And if you think that these won’t work then you might have a look on the ‘Enterprise bundle‘ from WordPress.com. And even more is ‘WordPress VIP‘ account with cloud support

Some features like the domain, a blog, advanced customization is also available for $99/site/year but with 13Gb of space, no premium themes and direct email support. This package is classified as ‘Pro Bundle’.

If your mind is wandering, if the ads still persists, then the answer is no. There won’t be any advertisement (because you’re a paying customer 😉 ).

Some services like custom design will come at you for $30/year. For further details and other information Ran Yaniv Hartstein has explained thing on this blog. Ran Yaniv Hartstein starts with some queries like

Are you a small business owner who wants an interactive website with demo videos? A pro blogger who wants to try out a bunch of premium themes before committing? A non-profit building its first website, and in need of a little extra…

which clearly states the WordPress.com is not targeting its market towards small and medium scale business and Pro bloggers who have tried their hand on Free versions of WordPress.com accounts and willing to explore further. The ‘Happiness Engineers are standing by’ support team will be in assistance for the business accounts at US business hours (EST).

Well, its your time to turn and zip further if you were waiting for a package like this.

And as usual Thanks for reading! Keep commenting! 🙂
